The Sony Gallery for Photography, inaugurated in 1991 as part of the Adham Center, remains the only gallery in Egypt dedicated exclusively to still photography in general and to photojournalism in particular. Curated by Adham Center graduate Noura Bahgat, the gallery features seven or eight exhibitions per academic year. The Sony Gallery is open Sunday to Thursday, 9 am to noon and 6 to 9 pm.
