Center Sponsors Dubai Media City Contest Visit

May 15, 2001 Adham Center and AUC journalism students have been invited to join their colleagues from Lebanon, the United Arab Emirates, and India in entering the Ibda'a awards contest, sponsored by Dubai Media City.

The Adham Center hosted Lubna Al-Attia and Arif Ghanim, representatives of Dubai Media City, for an information session on the contest. They also toured the center and met with faculty and staff.

The contest is designed to honor excellent student work in visual and print media. It also helps Dubai Media City build a base of new talent, since information on all contest entrants and their work will kept in a database accessible to Dubai Media City companies.
